On Sundays we all went to Chapel, it was a small building […] Pa practically ran the lot. He played the harmonium was Superintendant of the Sunday School and was Leader of the Temperance Guide […] I was taught to go to Chapel three times on Sundays […] After the evening Service some of the Preachers liked to hold an outdoor meeting on the Village Green in the summer time so the harmonium was carried there by helpful friends then we spent another half an hour singing hymns and listening to the Preacher.
