In the evening I went to Eleonora's concert. She has doubled the ticket prices and attracted a full house. Of course, she plays very well, but I think the concert was a little premature. The programme included my 'Prelude' from Op. 12, which was very well played, and scored a great success with cries of 'composer!' but the composer did not make an appearance. |
