This afternoon there was a concert by Janacopulos, who sang three of my songs, which I accompanied.

I had lunch with Stella, who was looking very attractive. I fed her wild strawberries, and it was a source of great pride to her that just before the first performance of my songs (!) I should be spending my time with her. But the premiere was a matter of indifference to me, and I was not counting on any great success from them. In fact, however, they did have quite a success, more than when Koshetz sang them in Moscow. Janacopulos sang very well, but not of course to be compared with Koshetz.
