[Email dated 26 July 2005] Thank you so much for sending me the DVD and programme book of ‘On Spital Fields.’ I’m on holiday at the moment, going to France tomorrow for a few days and so I was able to curl up on the sofa yesterday afternoon and have a wonderful time watching. It is absolutely magnificent, such emotional engagement from the company. And what a wonderful piece—I wished I could have seen it live. |
