The rest of the Parts were all perform'd by Gentlemen, & most of them as ill as one would wish to see. The Theatre is the Green-House & from that Shape too narrow & too 'low. The Stage is very like the Hackney Stage, not much larger & the rest of the Room filled with Benches, & anybody admitted that comes, so that you may imagine the Country People take care to fill them. The Dresses & Musick are all from the Opera, & two or three different Scenes; so that I assure you it is a very pompous affair, & to be treated with the utmost Respect
