On Thursday we kept home and fast; the Dean, his niece, and the servants went to church; I had a little cold, and had [Letitia] Bushe, and we staid at home. I have repeated more than once how happy I am in her company; she is in very good health and spirits, and at this instant is singing most melodiously.
