from Diary of Georgina Lee, 27 Dec. 1914, page 72:

A respite in the 'soak' weather of which we have had so much. A pale sun came through a watery blue sky and lit up the stately old Chelsea Hospital Chapel, while Daddy and I were there, so that the singing suddenly became more fervent and joyous. Daddy perked up too at my side.
