I write a good deal more Psalm in morning. Go to Patron’s Fund rehearsal at 11.40. Hear a long meandering Petrouchka-like Ballet of Betty Luytens [Lutyens] (Infanta’s Birthday) which suffered being away from Stage, & “Riding together”, M. Blower. mod. good. Irene Morden sings, “Thou Monstrous Fiend” [from Fidelio], tolerably, orch. v. bad. Practise as usual. Walk with Tumpty after tea. Write letters after Supper.
