When Shirley and I stopped off at a photography shop for film during one of our walks, a song was playing over the sound system. “That music seems familiar to me” I told Shirley, as I started singing the trombone part. It suddenly dawned on me that I was on the recording. “That’s the Christmas album I made with Fred Waring!” I blurted out. We immediately went to a record shop where the album, “The Meaning Of Christmas” had just come in.
