Queen Victoria in Windsor - 6 May, 1882
from Life and Reminiscences of Sir George J. Elvey, page 256:
The last important event in which he took part, just before he left Windsor, was the marriage of the Duke of Albany to Princess Helen of Waldeck, which took place at St. Georges Chapel on May 6th, 1882. The arrangements of the musical portion of this service, under his direction, gave such satisfaction to H.M. the Queen that she presented him with a very handsome silver claret jug.
