An extract from a Contemporary Notice, Tuesday morning, 22nd April, 1845 - Last Friday, we dined at the Duchess of Kent's, who had a very good concert in the evening : the Queen was present. We missed a musical evening at Mrs. Sartoris's through the Duchess of Kent's invitation.
