Beth & I should have played Hockey in afternoon (arr. by Bill Arnold) but we have to stain the dining-room floor for Tuesday's dance & there is no other time. This we do & move various bits of furniture in aft. & after tea a bit. Mum & Barbara sing bit after dinner. Usual walk - bed.
