Malcolm White et al. in Sheerness - 1915

from Two Men: A Memoir, page 81:

Of course his [Malcolm White] violin-playing was ripping. The fellow next door to us had a gramophone, and he had Bach's Concerto for two violins. The Man [White] would tune his violin carefully and play to the gramophone.
