Go with him to Prom at 8.0 (tickets from B.B.C.). Bartered Bride. ov. 6 attractive, yet flimsy Catalan Folk Songs (Sophie Wyss). Elgar's Impossible Vln. concerto (not perfectly played by Sammons). Schubert Unfinished. All played by orch without any enthusiam, altho' they worked up abit of that for F.B's Dance Poem, which he conducts splendidly.* It's a haunting work.
