Sergei Prokofiev in Mikhailovsky Theatre, Saint Petersburg - 12 November, 1914, at night
from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 12 November 1914, page 776:
After the lesson we dined and then went to the Maly Theatre* for the Koussevitzky concert. Eleonora** came with us; Bashkirov interests her and I was glad to introduce them to one another in hope of drawing her away from her 'handsome' suitor. [...] Alastor was even better at this second hearing than it had been at the first, but it is still a long work with some tedious passages.
