Sylvia Townsend Warner in Maiden Newton - 14 October, 1958

from The diaries of Sylvia Townsend Warner, page 251:

In the evening the Amadeus played opus 132; and I danced to the last movement, I rose up & danced, among the cats, & their saucers, and only when I was too far carried away did I realise I was behaving very oddly for my age - and that perhaps it was the last time I should dance for joy.
