Igor Stravinksy et al. in Paris - 17 May, 1920
from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 17 May 1920, page 513:
Stravinsky said that he had seen Mme Edwards and she had promised to arrange Mama's visa. He played me his Ragtime, a rhythmically fascinating piece, but I am not sure I would be able to play it in America as I am afraid it would be hopelessly beyond their understanding. I played all twenty Visions Fugitives for Stravinsky, five of which he found very good, and the rest rather inconsequential. I can never predict what Stravinsky will like and what he will not.
