Notes

David Attenborough filmed the London Symphony Orchestra on tour in Japan. He particularly wanted to film the closing section of Tchaikovsky’s Fourth Symphony from the orchestra, in order to gain a face-on view of the conductor. Both he and the cameraman, Ken, sat in the orchestra to do this, so that Attenborough could signal the correct point at which to start the camera.
