Sergei Prokofiev in Pianos Pleyel, Avenue Daumesnil, Paris - 7 May, 1924, in the afternoon
from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 7 May 1924, page 50:
In the afternoon I went to Pleyel to try pianos. Coincidentally there was a rehearsal going on there at the same time of the Overture on Hebrew Themes, which is to be played in a week's time and which for some curious reason has been called in the programme Jewish Rhapsody.
