In Episode One [of a trilogy of TV plays called The Devils Music] Megan the First hears Frederick Loudin's Fisk Singers, falls in love with their sound, and forms her own choir which scandalises the chapel elders with a stomping hand-clapping version of 'Oh Didn't the Lord Deliver Daniel', a splendid song which I found on an LP by the great Paul Robeson.
