Shirley Plater et al. in New Orleans - 1992

from Doggin' around, page 205:

One very cold, very wet night, we found ourselves as virtually the only customers in a bar, listening to a genial but mediocre quintet.  They asked if there was anything we'd like to hear.

Once we'd run through their Ellington repertoire, Shirley suggested 'Lover Man'.  They'd never heard of it.
