Charles C.F. Greville in Paris - 27 January, 1837
from Journal entry, 27 January 1837, page 385:
I called on the Duke de Broglie, Mesdames de Marescalchi and Durazzo, dined at the Embassy, then to Madame de Lieven’s and Pembroke’s concert. Not a profitable life, but not dull, and the day glides away.
