from Diaries of Thomas Cairns Livingston vol. 17:

[Lily was Thomas Cairn Livingston's niece, Josephine was his sister]

Tuesday 10 June, Some showers to day when I got home at tea time, Josephine, Lily, Ian and the new baby had arrived. John (Lily’s man) arrived later on. I played some of the old tunes on the piano which pleased Josephine.
