Dined with the Mildmays, and accompanied her to the Opera to see Pasta in “Tancredi.” Nothing could be more perfect than the pathos of both her acting and singing. Greffulhe said that Talma declares she is as much superior to Duchesnois in acting, as Duchesnois is to V–––. Got home rather late.
