I went to the Philharmonic concert with Frou-frou [Maria Baranovskaya], and sat in a corner so that if Stella should happen to be there too she would not be likely to see me. I much enjoyed hearing Beethoven's Fifth Symphony. No harmonic novelties at all, but what an utter delight! |
