Louis Spohr in Halle - November, 1804

from Louis Spohr's Autobiography, page 71:

Among the students I made the acquaintance of some clever amateurs. One Herr Schneider played well on the piano; another, Herr Müller right well on the violin. Herr Gründler, from Trebnitz near Breslau, immediately took instruction from me on the violin.
