At reception given for me at VOX [Society for Cultural Relations] Jacob Flieher and Zak, prize-winning pianists, play with incredible suggestive force and brilliance. Young fiddlers Kogan, Josip Meister (12 years old), Latinsky (15 years old); Kalinovsky plays Chausson Poème, young Boussia Goldstein plays Tartini, Poldini, Dvořak enchantingly.
