Sergei Prokofiev in St. Petersburg - 4 February, 20th Century, in the afternoon
from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 4 February 1913, pages 306-307:
The opera class greeted me in a very friendly manner. Kruglovsky sprang to his feet and adopted a humorous pose; the Rozhanovich sisters were cheerfully demonstrative. I did not stay long; the performances were slack and in any case with Glupenkaya absent they lacked colour for me.
