Later in the autumn [Alexander] Yurasovsky came to St Petersburg to promote his compositions, met all the top people and according to him had a great success everywhere. He came to lunch with me, when he talked loudly and at great length, and then played me his Phantom, which struck me as quite an interesting piece.
