Sergei Prokofiev - 21 November, 1914, at night

from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 21 November 1914, page 781:

In the evening I played at the Studio and was much put out, sitting in the dining room, that there was a delay in my turn to perform, because I was in a hurry to get to the Conservatoire to listen to the student concert. Zoya Lodi gave an interminable performance of Yulia Weisberg's tedious song cycle Songs from the Japanese.
