Woke into the wireless news that Germany has attached Jugoslavia. Afterwards listened to Hitler's speeches, and the German news on the Paris radio. Belgrade is arrosée des bombes. A cold day without, and heavy within. The BBC did the 2nd half of the Matthew Passion in the afternoon.
