William Beatty-Kingston in Vienna

from Music and manners; personal reminiscences and sketches of character, pages 20-21:

I spent one long, never-to-be-forgotten evening with him [Herbeck] in his mansion near the sky, talking over old times and friends, playing with him four-handed arrangements of his later concerted works, which I had not heard rendered by the orchestra, and listening to all-but-impossible feats on the pianoforte by Epstein and Joseffy, whom he had invited to meet me.
