In many parts of the fields I remark very large and deep pits made use of for watering the cattle but that cannot have been the original intention for such pits. They were certainly Marle Pitts. Old Ben Hunt I perceive in the field beyond my Paddock crying 'Jubb along' while the boy is chaunting a somersetshire Recitation to the oxen. Jubb along is I suppose a corruption of Jump along.
