Elie Robert Schmitz et al. in Paris - early June, 1913

from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 3 - 8 June 1913, page 432:

Calvocoressi was extremely busy and I managed only one meeting with him. I played both my Concertos to him and his friend, the pianist Robert Schmitz. The First Concerto they already knew, and appreciated (although they pointed out that the main theme had been taken from Balakirev), the Second they could not make much of. They promised to try to get Chevillard to perform the First Concerto nexy season. This would apparently be very prestigious, and God willing it will happen, although I do not place much reliance on their promises.
