Sergei Prokofiev in Turku - 1 June, 1914
from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 1 June 1914, page 692:
I hurried back on deck and started scribbling a postcard to Mama, but had no time to write more than the address. The hooter hooted, the passengers waved their handerchiefs, a group of country schoolmistresses on an excursion sang a psalm, and we slowly got under way.
