in Royal Festival Hall - the 2000's

from Southbank Centre Archive:

As a student, my boyfriend, who worked as a steward at the Royal Festival Hall, would sometimes sneak me into concerts. On one occasion I arrived in the middle of Patti Smith's Meltdown and was taken aback by a young harpist on the stage, her quirky but powerful voice and the sound of her harp filled the hall and it felt like the whole room was reverberating.
