Sergei Prokofiev - 3 January, 1915, at night
from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 3 January 1915, page 5:
In the evening I went to the fourth 'Contemporaries' evening. Zakharov played The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish indifferently, and some pieces from the same composer's [Tcherepnin's] marvellous Alphabet very well indeed. There were a lot of musicians there I knew and it was generally a pleasant time.
