Sergei Prokofiev in Chicago Opera - 6 December, 1921, in the afternoon
from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 6 December 1921, page 640:
In the afternoon there was a music rehearsal of Act Three. The Princesses are endearing creatures. Ninetta (Dusseau) has a gloriously pure voice. Linette would just suit this part! Smallens has after all carefully coached Pantalone and Truffaldino in the passage he wanted to cut, so I am happy about that.
