Alexander Borovsky et al. in Pianos Pleyel, Avenue Daumesnil, Paris - 1 May, 1924

from Sergey Prokofiev diaries: 1 May 1924, page 48:

Rehearsed with Borovsky at Pleyel. It's going better. He is enthralled by the Concerto. On account of its being the first of May there were no taxis, and as a result it was pleasant to be in Paris: nobody tries to run you down as you cross the street.
