Went to Borovsky's concert in the evening: a Russian programme. He began with Tchaikovsky's Sonata No. 1, just the first movement. It is probably the only way this sonata can be performed. He played my Prelude and Toccata, the latter with great élan. He ended with Stravinsky's Petrushka, the composer making an appearance for the last piece and sitting with Sudeikina in the box next to ours.
