Edvard Grieg in Troldhaugen - 1903
from Delius: A Life in Letters 1862-1908, page 222:
The festival (a whole week) with concerts and banquets was beyond my strength. I was allright as long as the business lasted, but afterwards came the reaction. You would however have loved the festival. The concerts were a tremendous success under Halvorsen and his National Theatre orchestra. And Björnson's speech was something special.
