from A London Provisioner's Chronicle, 1550-1563:
The thirtieth day of November the King's Grace and his lords rode to Westminster Abbey to Mass for the Spaniards sung […] and drums and flutes [...]. And the same night my lord cardinal came to the court and went to the chapel with the King. And there Te Deum sung.
