Mr Saville's fine talents, pleasing manners, and visible goodness of heart, made him many friends amongst the hospitable families resident near Barmouth. Sir Robert Vaughan came to that place frequently, while he staid [sic], with a train of agreeable guests, and invited him often to Hengwert, where he was always welcomed with cordial regard. Fond of music, that family were delighted with his transcendent songs, which, from superiority of energetic expression, throw all other singing into shade.
