Called upon Mrs. Stroëhling, who sung over to me some of the things I liked, and promised to copy them for me. Orme called at half-past two to take me out to dine at Longman’s at Hampstead: Mrs. ––– looking very pretty: sang some of my “Sacred Songs” with her in the evening.
