Notes

The listening experience occurred at an autumn event in the Spitalfields Festival Education and Community Programme. The trio of musicians-- Jan Hendrickse, Clare Salaman and Luke Goss performed traditional European music in four primary schools. Jan Hendrickse is a multi-instrumentalist, particularly European and Middle eastern flutes and researches woodwind traditions. Clare Salaman plays most string and keyboard instruments from many musical traditions and is founder of The Society of Strange and Ancient Instruments.
