Later I was at our Musick-Meeting; and Mr Ducket of Caune [Calne] in Wiltshire play’d on a Flute one song with us: But Mr Hill’s Harpsichord being near a note below Consort Pitch, and no sure Hand performing the Trebles (being only young Ladds of Wells and Shepton,) our Musick was very mean.
