Four long Ohio afternoons entering around the premiere, at Akron's museum, of Serenade on Five English Poems. Three contiguous events were scheduled: a lecture and master class at the university's music school, a well-rehearsed concert of my chamber music (including myself accompanying two song groups), and a reading from this unpublished diary at Kent State.
