Listen to a typical Beethoven Prom. on putrid wireless hear. Leonora 3. Tremate Trio* (not first rate B. but jolly in spots) & 9th Symphony Whole programme done with Woods usual exaggeration & lack of detail. The chorus was heroic if naught else.
