My little opera Bertha, on Kenneth Koch's incomparable playlet, is already thirteen years old, but it is seldom heard. As I did not want to attend a "revival" tonight, presented by the Golden Fleece Company, because I was dubious about the viewpoint, JH went instead as a spy. His worst fears were verified.
