An hour yesterday as David Diamond's guest for one of Julliard's regular Tuesday sessions. Room 539 was stuffed with bright-eyed composers in their twenties. The occasion: to hear, the collectively to analyse, David's new Violin Sonata, his most lively and likeable piece in years.
